Unm, listen to who the second most infomrative site is! I'm tickled though I don't have a lot of faith in how the selections were done...but I'll take it! Donna

I'm doing mostly okay but I am a year older now than I was last year, so age is catching up with me!

Yes, I'm planning to be at the Gathering in October.  Right now and always subject to change without notice, it looks like I may be out of town from August through late September or early October.  I should be at the Gathering but being home for my wife's birthday on October 11 is still up in the air.

That's nice to hear Dave   : )    I hope you are well. Will I see you at Ricks in November?

This is a site where anyone with a psaltery interest can learn more about the bowed psaltery.  There are 700+ members on this site.  If anyone asks a question one or more of those 700 members answers the question and/or provides an opinion.  The site also provides a method for connecting with the 700+ members, a resource that could lead to finding someone near you who has a psaltery to finding a luthier to finding easy sheet music to ...

It's no surprise to me that PsalteryStrings is referenced via Wikipedia or any of the other sites that try to help people learn more about music and/or learn to play their own music.  This is a great site.

How low do we bow when we bow our bowed psalteries with our bows? Say that ten times fast.

I'm still tickled at Psaltery Strings being selected as the number 2 source of information  : P

This video is a personal favorite because it shows a unique type of bowed psaltery with a gorgeous sound. When I heard it I broke out in goose bumps!

Tish's list is a valuable resource when searching for other players. http://www.westmaninstruments.com/Bowed_Psaltery_List.html

If you are already on Tish's list, why don't you stop in and update your info? While your there take a look to see if there are new players in your area. Who knows, you might get together and make a recording.
