Wish I could hear and watch the videos, guess I'll settle for my memory for now, my internet connection is almost painfully slow.  I am still at Cumberland Gap, at the campground, and site of the dulcimer festival this past weekend.  Mechanical problems have caused us to stay a few extra days, but on the up side, there are still folks around to jam with, and I'm still in one of our beautiful national parks, so it's a great place to be broke down.

The jam with Terry and Donna was lots of fun, great to communicate through music.  That little jam made my time spent at the park visitor center very special.  Terry and Donna have both been playing a very short time and are doing great.

Grego, the overalls are pretty much my usual attire, been wearing them since I was a teenager.  No need to stop now in my mid 50's.  A lady used to help my wife with the housekeeping.  She told Cathy that I "had more pairs of overalls than any human could possibly need".  Wonder what she meant by that?  :-)

Rick's harmony on this was fantastic.  This was the first time we played these songs together

like this.  No set number of times to play through or anything - just jamming.  Wish now we had

played a couple more times through as the harmony turned out so great on this one, especially.

Beautiful!   Love the harmonies on this in particular....

Love the resonance of that last chord. Wish the camera had stayed on a few more seconds to listen to those babies hum.

You three are killing me with these clips, what a sound!

Hey Rick, do you have another pair of overalls, or are we looking at your whole wardrobe here? ;~]

This video is a personal favorite because it shows a unique type of bowed psaltery with a gorgeous sound. When I heard it I broke out in goose bumps!
