Bowed Psaltery Gathering

Just want to let people know that there will be a Bowed Psaltery Gathering at Cove Lake October 25 - 28, 2018. I'm lining up the teachers - Rick Long will be teaching along with others. If you have something you would like to see happen or would like to learn at Cove Lake let me know.

Hi, What is the venue where the Gathering will take place, and do you have any ideas for lodging close by?  Thank you.

We are meeting at the community rooms right inside of the Cove Lake State Park enterance. There is a Holiday Inn and Hampton Inn within a mile of the Gathering. This is where most of us stay. There is a restaurant next door.

I think Gail will be posting more information on the Gathering schedule soon.  October 25th will be here before we know it.

Last year we worked on using a bowed psaltery to support songs with lyrics.  We worked on "Love Is Blue" and "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald".  Maybe those who participated in that session last year will bring their notes and we can play them again in the jam.  I have some new songs we can try this year using similar approaches.

Also, the building limits us to 60 attendees and Gail still has room for a few more people who might want to attend.  Contact Gail to reserve your seat!
