Comment by Terry L. Kirby on February 25, 2013 at 5:54pm Lisa, thanks for your nice comments on our Come Follow, Follow video. Four and a half years ago we saw Greg and Tish Westman set up at Dulcimer Days and wondered what those funny looking instruments were! To make a long story short, within a few weeks we both owned one and fell in love with them right away. After a couple of years we got brave enough to play at our local nursing homes and the people there loved it. If you are ever in our area, at a festival where we teach or have questions, we will help you in any way we can.

Comment by Cindi Zechman on January 18, 2013 at 9:25am I LOVE this....sure wish I knew someone close by I could play with...the harmony adds such a special dimension
Comment by Donna Malus on January 17, 2013 at 8:00am LOL Paula, you are so funny
One of my cats is infatuated with the bowed psaltery. She comes running when I play and wants to rub up against it. I think she thinks it's purring or something. It becomes almost impossible to play yet I hate to shoo her off. My dog on the other hand runs away.
The cabin where the Kirbys are playing in this video is a little piece of heaven. I've been there twice and wish I could live there.....I'm sure the Kirbys are quite happy I don't
You could hear the stream???? I have to listen again. There is a lovely little stream and more birds than in an aviary, you have quite an ear.
Comment by Paula Satinoff on January 16, 2013 at 11:41pm While I sat here captivated, listening to Shenandoah (and the sweet birds and little stream played counterpoint behind), my little Samantha - one of the three rescue kitties who rule me and my home - did something I have never seen a cat do in a lifetime (sorry, actual years are, er, US Govt classified
) of having cats: she walked to the end of the couch where I am, stood up on her hind legs, peered around at the screen and simply stood, first trying to figure out what she heard, and then just...listened. The whole way through.
Comment by Terry Butler on January 16, 2013 at 8:31am Love it when you two play in harmony!
