Hello! Thank you for welcoming me. I'm a newbie and am very excited to begin learning! I'm working on figuring out this website too! Happy playing.

Thanks for the welcome.   I have not played my psaltry for a long time.  I'm hoping this site will give me motivation to take it out more often.

Thanks Greg and Jeannie for bringing such great music with you to Cove Lake. I love that you go outside the envelope. Lady of the Lake is a delight and I'm having fun learning it. And thanks again for that pizza! Jane H.

Thanks again for all your help at Evart. Are you back home now? Or still on the road some where? I sure like using your bows you loaned me, but I will return them if you let me know, where and how..Saw Jeanie in a Mt.Dulci class, but she didn't see me. Enjoyed watching you videos. I'll post the one of you playing at my camp, when I figure out how..

Thank you Gregg for helping me tune my bowed psaltery and give me all your helpful tips on playing with two bows at the ODPC, in Evart,Michigan. I tried to find you on Sunday to give you back your two bows you've loand me,but the neighbors there said you had already left. I wish I had known you were having a little jam session with bowed psaltery players, I would have came down to your camping area, maybe next time. Will you be at the midland, Mi festival on August 26-27, 2016 ? If so I will return your bows.

Sorry for my delay in responding, I was out of the country for awhile, but now I'm back & have finally taken photos of the psaltery. Lets see if I can figure out how to post them on my profile.

I love it! I play it after a stressful day at work. I grew up playing the organ and this is a great substitute since I have not had an organ for about 24 years. I never thought of playing with 2 bows until I saw some of the videos! I am excited to learn that!

This video is a personal favorite because it shows a unique type of bowed psaltery with a gorgeous sound. When I heard it I broke out in goose bumps!
