Thank you for the Welcome!  A friend has loaned me her psaltery until I purchase mine this summer and I've been have such a great time learning to pay this instrument so I'm so looking forward to getting my own instrument!  In the meantime, I'm glad for the opportunity to be able to practice and play music on this wonderful instrument!

Thank you for the welcome !! This is a nice site and I have visited numerous times and am happy to now be a member.  The research I have done on-line, going to different builders sites and You Tube, where I've watched the wonderful videos of you and others play and teach, has convinced me this is the instrument for me.  I'm truly excited about getting my first bowed psaltery !!

Since I live in small town Iowa, is there a way for me to find other players near me ?

Thanks for the welcome. I've never played with anyone else. I don't know any other BP players personally.

Thanks for the welcome!

Ive had my bowed psaltery for a month now, was given it as gift at Christmastime.  I love any instrument that is bowed.

I live in the Wytheville Virginia area.  Are there any players in this area that you know of?

Thank you kindly! Looking forward to learning more about this interesting little instrument, which I acquired almost by chance. BTW, I love your photos, as I am a living historian in my spare time. :)

Hello everyone thank you for the add. Here is a picture of my recent build. Figured black walnut with an ebony bridge and mother of pearl inlay around the sound hole.

Thanks for the welcome.   I have not played my psaltry for a long time.  I'm hoping this site will give me motivation to take it out more often.

Thanks Greg and Jeannie for bringing such great music with you to Cove Lake. I love that you go outside the envelope. Lady of the Lake is a delight and I'm having fun learning it. And thanks again for that pizza! Jane H.
