Well this year is going fast! But I've been finding some time here and there to practice BP. I play mountain dulcimer with friends as a sort of ad hoc string band on a weekly basis. A few weeks ago I took the BP in to show it off. It was universally liked as a "cool" interesting instrument with an interesting sound. The double bass player naturally laughed his head off at my tiny little bow.
So the BP has been enlisted to accompany a contemporary christian hymn called Revelation Song. The leader wants to sing this in a couple of week's from now and will be accompanied only by an acoustic guitar and the BP.
So I'm trying to find a pleasing sound noodling around, following the chord progression, or harmonies without over doing it. Been enjoying the freedom to noodle around very much.
