I don't think Debra is in the Fiddlers now, but it is a large amorphous group and there are surely some I haven't met yet.
Sept. 24-26 turns out to be a weekend when I won't be able to get together with you. Actually, September is full of such weekends. I need to get control of my calendar! I hope we can get together some other time,
Trish, I've only been playing for a year but really love to play. I wish I had more time to practice. I've been working on learning songs 'by-ear' rather than reading - polishing up my sightsinging/ear training skills. It is nice to know someone else in Maine is playing folk instruments. :-)
HI Trish, welcome. I love the recording of you playing your psaltery! You do not seem to have any problems bowing the sharps and flats. How big is your instrument? Does it stay in tune? Im having problems keeping mine in tune.
Hi Trish and welcome! I hope you enjoy the site and find it useful. I also hope you don't mind that I posted your videos alread!! Feel free to post any other ones or pictures, ask questions, jump in on discussions!
