I will probably be the only person there who has owned a bowed psaltery for less than two months, but I'm sure it wil help me learn proper technique to participate in the Symphony.  I am very much looking forward to it.

Thanks for the fine vibes Tish.

Things are indeed pretty spooky here in Japan these days.

I went and played psaltery music at a shelter for refugees from Fukushima.

There was nary a penny in it for anyone, but rarely have I done such a rewarding performance.

Terry wanted me to look at something while I was at work and I couldn't remember our login, so I just created a new one for me. We are on the website on a daily basis and love it!

Hi Tish, I think I'm a lot like you and Greg, doing what I love and tryng to make that pay the bills and have something to eat. I told my wife Cathy that was all that was really important, when we decided for me to quit my full time job and work from home. If you saw me you would know I've been eating :)

I don't know of any relatives in WV, but you never know. I do like the name Alfred.

I don't have my schedule finalized yet, for the year. I plan to do more demos at the craft shops and have decided not to do any craft fairs this year. They are just getting too hard to do and I don't enjoy the fast pace.

I'll be watching for the dates of your get together and see if it will fit into my schedule. I have to send in my requested dates for demos Feb. 1, but that doesn't mean I'll get all that I ask for. There are a lot of crafters in the Southern Highlands Guild and the dates fill up quick.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I wouldn't want to horn in or any of your workshops, but would be nice to attend. I'm not much of a workshop leader anyway, even though I agreed to do just that at a couple of dulcimer festivals this spring . I'll probably be too nervous to think straight.

This video is a personal favorite because it shows a unique type of bowed psaltery with a gorgeous sound. When I heard it I broke out in goose bumps!
