It was good to hear from you - I know how you feel about playing alone !!! I have joined Sussex Harmony (you can see their website) and it is really good - at least I enjoy it and I don't think I disturb anybody.
The music is really difficult but it makes me practice. All of it is in four parts so I have o concentrate to know when to come in. Also it's a lot of B and E flats and F sharp. So I have to cross over a lot to the left side. I can't sing a note so I mime a lot.
We have a Carol concert in Brighton and I am a bit nervous as there is one bit where just the instruments play without any singing - there are two oboes, tenor recorder, cello and a ?crumhorn so I just hope they all turn up. I shall remember that I was told once that "right notes are melody and wrong notes are harmony" .
Keep in touch and tell me if you find any psaltery playing locally = Anne
