I've started work on PS Music Book Vol. 2 and was wondering what songs you might like to see in Volume 2.
Please post your suggestions here, I'd love to hear from you. Remember, songs must be in the Public Domain. If you're not sure, I'll double check.
Here is a tentative list:
If you're interested in Vol. 1 it can be found here;

Donna, looks like a fine collection of music. Please print the words for those of us who don't read music! Like many people it is much easier for me to have words to help figure out where I am in the song. First verse is all that is necessary.
Thanks, I'll consider that, you're not the first to ask for it. It does add some complications though....if you think of any other songs you'd like to hear don't hesitate to post!
Happy New Year to you and your family.
That's a great list. And here's a suggestion: Minstrel Boy. It's an old Irish tune that has featured in many films, including The Man Who Would Be King.
Steve has also suggested Portsmouth, a fine old English tune.
One other: Après de ma blonde. This is a fine, fast 17th-century French military and drinking song.
Arghh! I meant to write Auprès de ma blonde. First thing in the morning and all that.
Minstrel Boy is one of my all time favorites and I believe it's in Volume 1....excellent suggestion : ) I'm going to look into Auprès de ma blonde. I have never heard it!
Thanks so much.
I would love to here your version of Ashokan Farewell. I don't know if you could add it if there is still a copy-rite on it.
How can I get another copy of the first book? I love your ideas for the second book I am excited!
Can you include songs like The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face?
A Thousand Years
Asokan Farewell
Softly As I Leave You
Tennesee Waltz
Had An Uncle Named Of Matthew
He Leadeth Me! O Blessed Thought
