I subscribe to ED (I'm a HD player first) and posted it there as well.
Not sure, but curious as to what you think it is worth?
The harp was donated to a local animal shelter in central Illinois in return for some services. The shelter has no need of it, and could use the money.
Folkcraft no longer offers harps, nor is there any information on their site, so we've done a little research elsewhere about the value. We would like to sell the harp for about US$800 and we'll consider offers. As the shelter is a non-profit, there may be some tax-deduction benefits to buying it as well.
thanks for your interest.
Hi Glen, I'm not a harpist, but there may be others here who play or know friends who play the harp. So, maybe if you post a picture it might catch someone's eye. Good luck with this endeavor to help out the animal shelter. ~Brenda
Thanks. I know that this is a psaltery forum, so I didn't want to just offer up the harp directly.
But since you've suggested then here is a picture of the harp and a photo of the original brochure. It is a Folkcraft HIghland, built in the mid-90s and rarely played, according to the owner (who donated it to the shelter).
