West Virginia just declared a State of Emergency.  Flooding and more ice and snow on the way....

Comment by Donna Malus on March 4, 2015 at 5:31pm

NO MORE SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comment by Tish Westman on March 4, 2015 at 5:16pm

Not to worry, there will be songs up tonight and tomorrow.  None are so hard that you can't learn them but there are some challenging options if you need more of a challenge.  Here in WV, as in many of the places you all come from, winter weather has just been the pits....  We are expecting ice and more snow tonight so if we lose power I will get music posted as soon as it comes back on....Thank you all for your patience and support...Tish

You're not alone, there are a lot of nervous folks. The music is late and we all have differing needs for time to work on it. I'll see if I can get more info from TIsh and share it here.

Hi Donna, it's Becky Reeder from southern Illinois.  We are getting somewhat nervous that we don't have but 3 pieces of music. Two of which came from your site.  We are already into March.  Do you know how many pieces we will be doing?  Looking forward to coming again this year and meeting up with ya'all.

Hi all, A friend of mine found a 20 string psaltery on Amazon.  It is from a company called  Zither Heaven Children's 20 String Maple Bowed Psaltery,  She was going to purchase this for her grandchildren.  Does anyone know of them & of their quality?  Any advise is appreciated.  Thanks, Laura

This video is a personal favorite because it shows a unique type of bowed psaltery with a gorgeous sound. When I heard it I broke out in goose bumps!

If you are already on Tish's list, why don't you stop in and update your info? While your there take a look to see if there are new players in your area. Who knows, you might get together and make a recording.
